A hassle-free,’real’ single window system, best-of-its-kind in the country would be in place very shortly, said Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao to a rousing cheer from the business bigwigs. At HITEX, he was addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest at the ground-breaking ceremony of Tata’s new aerospace project for manufacture of Dornier 228 with RUAG Aviation (Germany). The unit will manufacture Fuselage and Wing for the Dornier 228 NG aircraft.
The single window clearance cell would be monitored from the CMO itself, through a special chasing cell planned as a Special Purpose Vehicle(SPV) under ITIR Authority. All the departments that need to give clearances for setting up of industries will be held to a strict timeline for review and approval of the new investment proposals.
KCR declared that a new industrial policy would be announced after due consultation with all the stakeholders and wished that the ‘made in Telangana’ label would become a global brand for quality and innovativeness.
He urged the industrialists to leverage the unique advantage of research organisations and labs based in Telangana. He hoped that the Tata Group would further expand into Telangana.
