In yet another display of strong Telangana aspirations, Telangana candidates broke all records in the Teachers and Graduates MLC elections. Veteran TNGO leader and contestant from TRS, Swami Goud created history by securing a total of 92.68% votes, which is an all India record. An earlier record was held by Ex PM AB Vajpayee with 85% votes. Swami Goud got a majority of a whopping 47,585 votes, which is considered phenomenal in an MLC election.
TRS candidate P Sudhakar Reddy won the Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar Teachers MLC constituency by a record majority of 5023 votes.
Telangana Teachers JAC state president, and contestant from PRTU, Poola Ravinder won the Nalgonda, Warangal and Khammam Teachers MLC constituency.
Way to go!
Every election from now on must be taken seriously and no stone should be unturned and no complacency.
Win we must, and show that the anti-telengana and forked-tongued cheats have no place here.
Its good win for TRS but I will be more happy if TRS win all 3 MLCs… Its important for KCR to select right candidates for any future election…..it was disaster to select Varada reddy who never participated in telangana movement thats against poola ravinder who was actively involved in T-movement & was Chairman of Teachers JAC…….Mehboob Nagar MLA seat & Nalgonda MLC seat lost because of putting wrong candidates…..
People of telangana believe in TRS and they ready to vote for TRS but that doesn’t mean that TRS can put any candidates who never participated in t-movement or by just selling the tickets will not work…..
So its very important for KCR to put right candidates in future elections otherwise 2009 general election result will repeat because of overconfidence or arrogance….and this will effect the entire T-movement….
Its better KCR to take democratic approach when selecting candidates in general election by consulting with all local TRS leaders & TJAC leaders……If TRS doesnt have any right candidate for any specific constituency they can take it from JAC or other leaders who participated in sakala janula samme…….because in last 4 years most of T-leaders generated in this movement so TRS can select any candidate from them to contest in elections…
Only TRS party with right candidate will easy win in every election either its local, mla, mlc or MP….
