Telangana Assembly Budget Session from September 10

The maiden budget session of Telangana State Assembly will commence on Sept 10 and likely to continue till Sept 30.

It is learnt that a decision to this effect was taken after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s inspection of Telangana Secretariat and his meeting with Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary a few days ago.

The Ganesh Utsav will conclude on September 8 with grand immersion of idols in Hussain Sagar lake.

As such events will be over by that time, it was decided to conduct the maiden budget session of TS Assembly from Sept 10.

Though it was decided to have the session till September 30, according to sources, it is likely to be extended by some more days depending on the situation. Several important issues, including farm loan waiver and necessary allocations would feature during the TS Budget session.
