Telugu Desam Party suffered a serious set back in Hyderabad – as two heavyweight MLAs joined TRS on the same day.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Teegala Krishna Reddy, two TDP senior MLAs, joined TRS in a public meeting organized at TKR Engineering College grounds. Nizamabad TDP President and MLC Gangadhar Goud also joined TRS in the same meeting.
With Khammam district too turning Pink, TDP’s days in Telangana, now seem numbered.
Speaking at the meeting CM K Chandrashekar Rao lashed out at Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu for trying to harm the interests of Telangana state. KCR said Naidu is deliberately creating problems to Telangana state by not sharing power as stipulated in the AP Reorganization Act.
CM showered several promises to the citizens of Hyderabad. He said the Old City would be developed in the lines of Istanbul. He also reiterated his vision to make Hyderabad a slum-free city.
