Story, screenplay, direction of Grand Alliance by Chandrababu

By Oracle

  • Seniors from all non-Congress partners of grand alliance stay away from the contest
  • Naidu remote-controls Congress politics
  • Rebel trouble hit alliance partners
  • Kodandaram gives a quiet burial to the spirit of separate State agitation

The Congress tickets have been announced. As expected the party held back the announcement for a third of the constituencies.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi removed 25 names proposed by the State committee. He has his own inputs from a “secret” source.

Magnanimity was a drama enacted by Telangana Jana Samithi. Founder Kodandaram opted out of the contest, not to deprive a Backward Class representative from contesting. In this case, it is former TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah, whose seat was “sacrificed” by the former political science professor.

The CPI, which pestered for at least five seats and which talked about Plan B if its demand was not conceded, has settled down to contest. CPI State secretary Chada Venkata Reddy may not contest either.

And, the Telangana Telugu Desam Party President L Ramana and senior party leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy are not contesting the upcoming elections.

Thus, helmsmen from all the alliance partners have opted out of the contest. And the Congress top brass in the State were reined in. And, who is behind all this “Tamasha”?

Naidu pulling strings
The Grand Alliance is enacting every scene as per the story, script, screenplay and direction of N Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and president of a self-proclaimed national party (not as per the Constitution, though).

One need not have any doubts about this.
Rahul Gandhi has no clue about Telangana politics. His party doesn’t exist in AP that mandated his acquiescence to Naidu’s well-orchestrated political design of stitching a coalition.

The Congress is facing the rebel trouble already. Serilingampally, Warangal West, Hanamakonda, Suryapet, Secunderabad Cantonment, and many other Assembly seats have become hotbed of rebel problem. Some rebels even from parties like the TJS are being drawn by the BJP.

The TDP isn’t devoid of serious infighting. Serilingampally Assembly seat where two groups fought and Movva Satyanarayana group that created a scene in front of the NTR Trust Bhavan made a spectacle of the party.

Naidu group in Congress
With multiple leaders of different groups vying with one another to grab the attention of the Congress high command to consider them for the top job, in the event of the Grand Alliance making it to power, some clever leaders are nursing their “good offices” with Naidu.

Rahul Gandhi is said to have removed the names of 25 candidates from the first list at the behest of a “secret report” submitted by Naidu.

Naidu is acting like the B Team of Congress
The Chandrababu group in the Congress is hoping that it will hit the jackpot, if at all the Alliance makes it to power. In such a scenario, hypothetical though, the sealed cover with the name of the Chief Minister candidate will fly from “Amaravati”.

Much before the campaign, infighting in the alliance reached its crescendo. But, the Congress is looking at its new-found external Messiah to clear the mess.

However, KCR may not let all this “Tamasha” get unveiled by taking his party to the shores of victory.
