Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidate Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy won the Nalgonda-Warangal-Khammam Graduates MLC constituency against his closes rival Errabelli Rammohan Rao of BJP, TDP alliance.
Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy established a lead of over 12700 votes in First preference votes. The counting of Second Preference Votes was done as a candidate has to secure more than 50% of votes polled to be declared a winner.
Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy was declared a winner yesterday night by the election authorities.
The election of Dr Palla is a clear indicator that the people of Telangana are supporting the various policy decisions and welfare programs of the TRS government.
After paying respects to the Telangana Martyrs, Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy thanked CM K Chandrashekar Rao, the cabinet ministers and TRS leaders and cadre for extending their full cooperation. Dr Palla promised that he would voice the concerns of the Graduates in the Legislative Council.
