Proving the detractors wrong, Hyderabad’s brand image got a big boost today as global IT giant Oracle announced that they would be expanding their Hyderabad operations soon. The Hyderabad office of Oracle would become its biggest office outside the USA.
Opponents of Telangana have long being indulging in negative propaganda that Hyderabad’s brand image would suffer if it becomes a part of Telangana state.
Oracle Corporation President Mark Vicent Hurd will be visiting Hyderabad soon to sign the agreement with state government.
State Information Technology minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah confirmed that Oracle had conveyed its decision to expand its operations in Hyderabad.
“The IT giant will be expanding its office here as their biggest facility outside of the United States. They have deliberated and decided and the president of the company will soon be visiting Hyderabad,” said Ponnala
Recently, other big IT companies like Amazon, TCS and Infosys have also announced their expansion plans in Hyderabad.
