The state government will give permission to 16 new industries with an investment of Rs 1,570 crore under the fourth phase of TS-iPASS, the new industrial policy of the state.
According to sources in the industries department, the permit letters will be handed over to industrialists on Saturday.
These 16 industries will provide an employment opportunity to 1,812 persons.
Out of the 16 industries, six industries belong to solar power projects with an installed capacity of around 50 MW. The government will accord permission for expansion of MRF tyre factory in Medak.
MRF will invest Rs 900 crore and provide an additional employment to 500 people.
Besides these, aerospace product unit, research and development unit will also come up, sources said.
