Welcoming the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013, TRS MLA K Tarakarama Rao gave a powerful speech packed with historic facts. He thanked the Telangana activists who have participated in the movement and the martyrs of the movement. KTR recounted the historic reasons for Telangana statehood demand and talked about how Telangana was discriminated in the unified state.
KTR also narrated how Telangana movement was spearheaded by Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He recalled how the very word “Telangana” was banned by Chandra Babu Naidu in the state assembly.
