KTR answers netizens’ questions on Twitter

Minister K T Rama Rao on Thursday evening went live on social media platform Twitter and interacted directly with Twitteratti.

In about an hour long live session, he answered questions related to infrastructure, industries development and the present political situation in the state.

With elections around the corner, netizens asked a lot of questions related to the principal opposition Congress and its alliance with TDP.

Answering a question on MahaKutami, Minister said that Congress was responsible for the loss of lives during the past two phases of the Telangana movement. He said that the indecisive behavior of Congress led to suicides in the state.

Talking about the TRS election manifesto, Minister KT Rama Rao said, “Our manifesto will come out late this month. Our manifesto will be a combination of all the welfare activities which were promoted in the past.”

Adding on to it, he said, “Urban and rural infrastructure, healthcare and education will also be given due importance.”

When asked for a White paper on the industries and investments which came into the state, KT Rama Rao said, “ I have been submitting annual progress reports of each and every department of mine, including Industry and Commerce, IT, and MA&UD.

Industries which came in, the employment created and the investments which we brought in has been explained in these reports.”

When asked about his opinion on the recent lathi charge in Delhi, Minister condemned it and said that the government of Telangana has been taking a lot of measures for the welfare of the farmers in Telangana in the form of Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema policies.

Answering another query on UAE Amnesty, Minister KT Rama Rao said that a competent delegation has been sent to UAE to bring back Telangana immigrants through Amnesty scheme.

When netizens questioned about Hyderabad SRDP project, he said that the works are going on at a fast pace under SRDP which is a continuous program.
