KCR to be the Chief guest at ‘ASICON 2014’ to be held at HICC

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be the Chief Guest at the 74th Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India (ASICON) to be held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre on 27th December 2014.

The Conference is being held for the first time in Telangana State. The Theme of the Conference is ‘Empowering Surgeons…Impacting lives.’

ASICON organising secretaries P. Raghuram, G. Laxmana Sastry called on KCR today at the secretariat and requested him to be the Chief Guest.

The Association of Surgeons of India represents some 20,000 General surgeons and surgical specialists in all disciplines spread across the length and breadth of the country.

For the first time the President of American College of Surgeons, Presidents of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Association of Surgeons of Singapore, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as President of Surgical Associations of SAARC countries are participating in the conference.

The Conference will showcase the State of Telangana and project brand Hyderabad as a Medical Capital of India.
