The Telangana Jagruthi is gearing up to organise Bathukamma, the floral festival in a big away across the State. Its president and Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha will be making a whirlwind tour of all the ten districts for the purpose.
Kavitha who is presently on a visit to United States will return to city in time to commence her journey from Narsampet (Warangal district) on October 12.
The next day she will head to Husnabad (Karimnagar district) followed by Kamareddy (Nizamabad) on October 14.The activity then shifts to Koudipally and Narsapur in Medak districts on October 15 and Vikarabad (Rangareddy) on October 16. Kothakota (Mahbubnagar) will host Bathukamma celebrations on October 17.
Kavitha will then head to neighbouring Maharashtra state to celebrate the festival with Telangana natives settled in Mumbai on October 18.
She would come back next day to attend Bathukamma fete in Devarakonda in Nalgonda district on October 19. The floral festival would culminate with Saddula Bathukamma to be organised at Tank Bund on October 20.
It may be mentioned here that Telangana Jagruthi has been organising Bathukamma festival for the last eight years.
