    • vijayshree says:

      Dear Satya,

There are more opportunities in the capital to be formed in Seemandhra, I am telling you, it will be a world class capital. There is a huge coastal line and many ports will come up, apart from the existing ones. A port will always mean, the entire area around it will flourish in terms of different businesses.

Besides all the companies you spoke about are private sector, they will recruit irrespective of which area anyone will belong to and no one is going to stop anyone from coming here.

Just think Satya, I have seen many people writing to this site, saying how, Andhra management companies do not recruit telangana people in their companies and cut them off, at the entry point and also, a telangana person does not get any facilities for setting up a business, even if he badly wants to.

You know by now the nature of Telangana people, they are warm and kind, they will always welcome anyone coming here and wanting to live here. And we will not harbour feelings of hatred towards anyone.

Hyderbad had world class infrastructure and some of the finest of companies in India, before it was merged with Andhra in 1956. There was nothing that was added in terms of development of infrastructure by the Andhra groups, all that they did was bagged contracts for useless projects and built what is actually only an appendage and serves no purpose or did only a superficial job resulting in the kind of collapse that we see during the rainy season, of all the roads.

Satya, some of your leaders are carrying on only a slanderous campaign, all the companies which you have mentioned will come up even in the newly built capital city. Everything will come to your feet, once infrastructure is in place.

It is like you can’t have it all. Hyderabad is in the heart of Telangana, Telangana dies of thirst but it gives water to Hyderabad, it is giving precious agricultural lands for expansion of Hyderabad. Why will it not belong entirely to Telangana, we are not asking for Vizag or Tirupathi. Hyderabad was and will always be a Telangana city, no two thoughts about it.

There are oil and gas resources in your coastal areas, these can be used to fuel the economy of the new state to a large extent.

Telangana has suffered enough, let us part amicably and I am saying again, private sector jobs specially MNC’s are never recruited on the region basis, you will not see so many north Indians living here, if that was the case. So everything is going to be the same, as before, only corrections will take place in the government sector and that sector hardly has any vacancies, so don’t be taken in by the false propaganda of the others.

      • Shree vikram says:

        Hi vijayshree,

You have mentioned every thing very clearly and i feel very proud about it.

Seemandra leaders want United Andhra pradesh just to command the people of Telangana.
As mentioned in above comments by my friends, multinational companies will recruit employees from any region, not only from Telangana and seemandra but from all over india,
If we go and see in infosys , we can find more employees from North india.
And talking about multinational companies, they have established in Hyderabad with the help of the Govt but not only with help of Telangana or seemandra people.
Some people are saying that Hyderabad is developed by them, but my dear friends of seemandhra i would love to say one thing, IT was established in Hyderabad before 15 years and got momentum from past 10 years,

But where in Hyderabad has a history of 400 years, we have many historic places and many Core industries in and around Hyderabad, but all these industries were shout down by the seemandhra leaders to support there business,
some people think and saying that Hitech city is the icon of Hyderabad, But my dear friend this is not the icon of Hyderabad,

        But places like –
        Charminar
        Mecca Masjid
        Golconda Fort
Qutb Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad, India.
Spanish Mosque, مسجد بايغا Begumpet, Secunderabad 1906.
        Chowmahalla Palace.
        Falaknuma Palace.
        Salar Jung Museum.
        Himayat Sagar.
AP state Assembly ( This building was built in 1913 by nizams).
this are the icons of Hyderabad.

  6. soonya says:

Mitrama, does the demerger of the state stop Andhra and Seema friends from applying for either MNC or Indian large companies’ jobs in Hyderabad?

Are not our brothers working in Bangalore, Chennai and many other Indian cities?

With the modern knowledge, one can build a better capital, if only one has the will and vision.

You will be surprised how fast a city can develop if there is vision. In Hyderabad one has to destroy the character of the city to build a Metro. Imagine a city with modern transport planned at the time of development. Not much has been done to add to the civic amenities – many are retrofits and many are hits and misses. Development is not just roads, flyoevers and glitzy buildings. I recommend that you google Enrico Penelosa who was the mayor of a major city in Latin America. You will get a sense of what a city ought to be.

And a new city demands construction, and new jobs as the new government needs to have all the departments to govern. It just took a decade+ for the IT to develop. Already Vizag is where Hyderabad was in 1990’s, and probably a little ahead.

Why did Infosys come to Hyderabad? Because we Indians would like to close to our home towns. Why do they have offices beyond Bangalore? They are businessmen and they would like to go where resources (especially human resources) are available and where the government gives sops – like cheap power, cheap land, tax breaks etc. They do not love Hyderabadis or Andhras or love Telugu. They love opportunities to make money and save as much as they can.

Why did Satyam go to Chennai or Bangalore? Does it mean that Mr. Ramalinga Raju did not love Andhras or Telugus or Hyderabad? It meant that Tamil software engineers would rather have a job in Chennai if possible. And he was given land and buildings either free or near free.

For every one direct job created, there will be more – for 1 S/W job 1.4 jobs are created. It is much better for manufacturing of course – should be 1:3 or 4.

Both Seema and Andhra friends must understand that the current model of development where we only focus on one city and ignore the rest of the state is a recipe for social disaster. Islands of excellence do not thrive among seas of deprivation. Especially it is not ethical nor is democratic.

Here is a chance to demand from the politicos that a centralized the centre focused development must be shunned and a more dispersed development model is the call of the time.

We are going to demand from the new Telangana government a similar thing. The Hyderabad-centric development model must go. There must be many more cities which are developed. That’s why I appreciate KCR’s thought that the current 10 districts of Telangana must be further divided into 24 districts. Imagine what would happen. There will be 14 more collectors, SPs and other offices and 14 more new cities/towns can develop. And governance will be closer to people.

Telangana movement and the de-merger must be seen as a boon for democracy where new voices must be and will be heard, new classes of people will and should get a share of the power and economic benefits.

The current ruling classes are moribund, self-centered and anti-democratic. They were held to account. That’s why they are resisting the change. We the middle classes who are educated and can think must delve deeper and see and understand their designs. We must be the voices of the voices which were not heard in the power corridors so far. Whether it is in Telangana, or Rayalaseema or Coastal Andhra.

The de-merger is the first step in the emancipation of the people of this region. There are many more hills to climb and many more goal-posts to claim.

I see the huge opportunities for People of SA origin in Hyderabad post T formation. Demand for UT is silly and suicidal for people of SA origin. New political opportunities will open up for them in T assembly. People of SA origin’s votes are decisive in at least 12 constituencies of GHMC. All the political parties including TRS will vie each other to appease these votes, and I am sure every political party will promise not only protection, but also to protect their interests, as their votes are crucial in T assembly, whose strength will only be 119 or less if Bhadrachalam is given to Andhra. When 7 MLA of Majlis are enjoying huge clout in AP assembly, imagine what 12-20 MLA of SA origin can do in T assembly. Their votes are crucial in small state like T, and no Government is possible with out their support. If they become a block with MIM they will be a huge force to reckon with. I do not know which foolish fellow is giving them the idea of UT status for Hyderabad. Who will gain if UT is made? SA brothers please have some sense and support T state with Hyderabad. If at all any UT is to be made, generally financially weak units will be chosen for central Government help, which cannot meat their basic expenditure. I think Rayalaseema will perfectly meet the criteria. People should demand UT status for R seema, as the income is far less in the backward districts like Anantapur, wile expenditure will be much higher. If that is not possible, at least special council status like Gurkhaland should be given to R seema and merge it with Andhra state. I also believe that autonomous hill district status should be given to Bhadrachalam and all other tribal dominated places in Coastal andhra ranging from vajedu in bhadrachalam till srikakulam to safeguard the interests of tribals in the Andhra region.

    Satya,

Since you said ‘ok i understood’, I have some hope that you have some capability to understand what I say as well.
The companies that you mentioned are all private companies. They have been operating that way and continue to operate that way. Infosys in Hyderabad is same that of in Bangalore, Chandigarh, etc., Anyone can go and work anywhere.
No body is stopping any Seemandhra people from coming to Hyderabad and working in those companies.
If you have some time to spare, try and read more about the Telangana struggle on this website. I bet if you are on the justice side then you will join the struggle as well wholeheartedly instead of providing lip service saying ‘Telangana thesukoni happy ga undandi’. Getting Telangana BACK is only the first step. We might have to sacrifice a couple of generations to rebuild it.

    Sravan Garu,

I am regularly following the debate programmes in TV channels V6, TV9 and NTV etc. your participation and counter attack is really appreciable. Day before yesterday on Sunday 25th Aug. at 11:30 pm I was watching the debate programme on Telangana issue where you and Sri. U. Sambasiva Rao I think, revealed one thing i.e secret agreement between Nehru and Rajaji regarding Hyderabad as capital. Sri Sambasiva Rao garu also read the content from one book, “Can you pls let me know the name of the book”. It is also your responsibility to expose the issue and develop the awareness between Telangana people.
Finally, I am one of the participant in ’69 Telangana agitation. During the agitation I met with an accident and I was bed ridden for 6 months.
    Your reply is highly appreciated.

  11. Telangana In My View says:

    Hi all,

I too hail from a family with links to SA region. My grandfather is from Krishna district. Then, he was an employee of the state government in Irrigation department. He worked in construction projects of Tungabhadra dam (Hospet camp), Nizam sagar project and Nagarjuna sagar project (chalakurthi camp). He retired while working at Miryalaguda camp (Nalgonda dist). All of my father’s sibling born in Miryalaguda itself.

My uncle was an active participant in 1969 Telangana agitation. Later on he joined the Naxalites (1970’s). Our family only heard from sources that he worked in Nizamabad/Adilabad districts. We never met again and one morning in front of our small brick home in Miryalaguda slogans were written “Comrade Ramchander Amar Rahe”(early 1980’s). I have only seen him in photo and I was too young to understand what was happening around me. He saw the plight of farmers/poor/ down trodden people of Telangana and gave his life for Telangana. Many of the well educated youth, who failed to achieve their dream of Telangana in 1969 followed the path of Naxalism. HE WAS FROM THE GENERATION WHICH GAVE IT’S LIFE FOR TELANGANA.

I grew up as son of Telangana in Nalgonda watching barren fields of Telangana and people suffering from fluoride water. I know days when Krishna delta (Guntur/Krishna districts) people were fighting for water for the 3rd crop, Telangana was crying for the first crop. Land cultivated under canals in Guntur/Krishna/east, west godavari district alone is more than the land cultivated under canals in entire Telangana region…..why ???? We don’t want this injustice to continue

The sacrifices of 1969 agitation might have gone in vain, but the morale of Telangana people is not lost. We will fight till the day sun rises in Telangana.

    JAI TELANGANA JAI BHARATH

    Hi All,

Let us say that, a girl and a boy got married. And boy invested some money on the girl after marraige (May be for clothes and for basic needs etc). For many years, lady experienced many issues with husband who ignores her self esteem and dominated her on every deed. The lady decided to separate from her husband.

Seema Andra People, please answer my question:

    1. Is it right for the husband to argue in the court that he won’t give divorce because he has invested so much on her?? It wouldn’t have been a better option for that huband to ask for recovery of their money etc (in the form of packages).

Guys please think through, Broken hearts won’t come together. You can’t make someone live together with you forcibly, with they not willing to do so. In this way SeemaAndra Udayamam doesn’t have a ethical base.

    • Prakash says:

You are never going to get Bellary back as it is shown in the map, even if you get Bhadrachalam back. Bellary is part and parcel of Karnataka, and Teluguites in Karnataka are better off than their counterparts in Andhra . That is the truth !

    • soonya says:

the story goes that Mr. Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, a powerful politician from Seema who was the CM of AP and later the President of India, hated a politician in Bellary, one some Gopal Reddy, and when the question linguistic ‘principles’ based division was happening he was happy to ‘part’ with Bellary to Karnataka even when a significant number of people are of Telugu origin in Bellary.

Because of that Anantapur lost its claim to Tungabhadra basin!

Call it ‘cutting the nose off to spite the face’! And today if you want Bellary will the KA folks offer it? Will Bellary people who were ‘sent’ away want to share their waters with Anantapur?

Politican expedience, self-centeredness and myopia are the hallmarks of all Andhra leaders so far. Unfortunate, but true.

      • Prakash says:

I think today Bellary is Kannada majority, (even Reddys there call themselves as Reddappa) ,and there is no way the Kannadigas are going to part away with it.

Besides, why would Bellary people want to be part of Andhra Pradesh, when they have a goldmine in Bangalore in Karnataka?

Bellary going to Karnataka was a blessing in disguise for Teluguites as well as Kannadigas living in Bellary !

  15. Navyandhra says:

I am talking of peace, you are waging war. I am talking of bifurcation of AP, let us not have another controversy of Karnataka. It is foolishness to claim, bellary, berhumur, Krishna giri now. Please take your telangana as it existed on 31.10.1956. There is no point in talking about Neelam sanjeeva reddy now. I still believe Burgula ramakrishna rao, should have been the 1st CM of AP as well, unfortunately he resigned and paved way for a arrogant and hot headed Neelam sanjiva reddy. But we cannot re write the history. I am asking my T brothers whether the hate and negative campaign will help? or harmony and brother hood will help?
