CM KCR, Industrialists’ Aerial Survey Today

After announcing the industrial policy and attractive incentives to the upcoming industries, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will conduct an aerial survey of around 2,000 acres lands situated between Mucherla in Ranga Reddy district and Kadthal in Mahbubnagar district on Wednesday.

The purpose of the aerial survey is to identify the potential industries that could be located on these lands. The existing pharma industry will also be shifted to the proposed 2,000 acres lands. The chief minister will be accompanied by representatives of Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association and a team of officials.

‘’The idea is to relocate the existing pharma industries in Jeedimetla area in the proposed 2,000 acres land. A pharma city will be developed there. The new pharma industries too will be located there. The chief minister will also examine locating other such pollutant industries on the 2,000 acres land,” the official said.

The government wants to know how much amount in their total investment for pharma industry would be used for for effluent treatment plant. “The government will also contribute for the effluent treatment plant. The slush released by pharma industry will be useful for cement and other industries,” the official explained.

The proposed 2,000 acres land was situated between Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar road. However, there was no proper road connectivity to the proposed site. “We have to improve the road connectivity,” an official said.

The industries department has already approached the mobile crushers, who are willing to demolish the boulders.
