Telangana government is making efforts to commence “Rythu Bandhu” scheme with an aim to prevent farmers from distress. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is slated to launch the programme in the erstwhile Medak district. The programme will be held from May 10 to May 17, 2018.
The central government has given in-principle approval for establishing All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Telangana. In a letter sent to the Telangana government, the Centre directed the officials to identify land for AIIMS.
Telangana government is working for upliftment of the fishermen community in the state. To help them grow economically, the government is successfully implementing Integrated Fisheries Development Scheme (IFDS).
