Assembly Session till Nov 29

The Telangana Assembly session has been extended till November 29. The budget session, which was supposed to end on November 22, was extended by a week as the House has not yet taken up discussion on important issues. Moreover, since the Appropriation Bill has to be sent to the governor for his approval by Dec 2, the government has decided to extend the session till Nov 29, it is learnt.

The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) which met on Friday under the chairmanship of Speaker S Madhusudana Chary took the decision to this effect. Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, leader of the opposition K Jana Reddy, deputy chief minister T Rajaiah, deputy speaker Padma Devender Reddy, legislative affairs minister T Harish Rao, BJP floor leader K Laxman, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, CPM member Sunnam Rajaiah, CPI member Ravinder Kumar Naik and others attended the meeting.
